Pillow Elementary

“Wow that was fun!  Thank you so much for coming to our school!”
— Michael A., Pillow Elementary Teacher

At this school visit, we had a blast talking to elementary students about poetry and typewriters.

We talked about creativity, spontaneity, and being bold and making mistakes.

Then we took some suggestions from the students and typed on-the-spot poems — their hilarious topics ranged from a rabbit undergoing kneecap surgery to a dog named “Ishkabibble.”

We also had time to let them give each other poem topics and write some poems on the spot. A few brave students shared them with the whole group.

Thank you, friends at Pillow Elementary!

I am a Project Based Teacher at Advance Learning Academy which is housed at Fox Tech. I am beginning my school year with a poetry unit. I am very interested in what you my have to offer. I would like to know if you have availability any of these days. Tuesday-Friday, August 14-17. I would also need to know any cost involved.
