Holiday house parties, birthdays, you name it, we’ve probably done it.
One of our favorites was a 1920s-theme, celebrating a home’s 100th anniversary. Here’s a video of it (we’re just before the 2-minute mark):
“A huge THANK YOU. You were a wonderful addition, and everyone absolutely loved the poems they got. Mine was so amazing!”
— House 100th Anniversary, party host
** Note: We are currently scheduling wedding bookings only four (4) months out or less.
If your wedding is more than 4 months away, you can always send us an inquiry, but most likely we will not be able to schedule that far in advance.
“Thank you so much for helping to make our wedding awesome!
People could not stop talking about how much fun they were having getting poems written. We received several poems as gifts from our guests, and several others have sent us pictures of the poems they got written for themselves. All of the poems we’ve seen perfectly captured each person’s personality. We will definitely be recommending you to everyone we know!”
— Ashlyn B., bride
Celebrate your union with personal poetry — we’ve done scores of weddings, including same–sex! We also do anniversaries!
Wedding Example: At a gorgeous outdoor reception, we typed poems for Lauren & Jon’s guests.
Our table was adorned with flowers (and fancy typewriters) and we wrote poems for 2 hours, ranging from odes to the newlyweds to personal topics for the guests.
We typed on custom paper that Lauren & Jon had pre-printed just for us.
“All our guests adored their poems and couldn’t stop raving about how creative and unique the experience was — even days/weeks after!”
— Lauren & Jon
The guests requested poems on their favorite things about the couple; here we are with guest (and fellow poet) Luci Baines Johnson.
“What fun it was for everyone — you were such a hit!”
— anniversary party organizer
At the end of the party, Sandy & Dudley placed our poems in a book as a permanent keepsake.
“That was the BEST party favor / guest book!”
— anniversary party guest
